uzbeg vizum / uzbek visa

kezdek buszke lenni az orosztudasomra. meg akkor is, ha en ezt nem neveznem igazabol tudasnak...
lenyeg, hogy a minap mar oroszul hivtam az uzbeg nagykovetseget, es kertem idopontot. azert szerencsere a vegen nemetul ujra egyeztettunk mindent, de vegulis minden stimmelt, ugyhogy megy ez az orosz, semmi gond... (:
tenyleg kezdem annyira elvezni... ezek utan nem is nagyon fogok olyan orszagba menni, ahol tudnak angolul/nemetul stb...
sajnos a vizummal kapcsolatban semmi kulonos sztorival nem tudok szolgalni. az orszaghoz kepest meglepo modon reggel igenyeltem, es delutan 3-ra kesz volt... hihetetlen!
kozben befigyelt egy rafting a chuy folyon, gondoltam, miert ne? mikor odaertunk, akkor derult ki, hogy en vagyok az egyetlen, aki nem beszel oroszul a tarsasagban. pedig gondoltam, nem art erteni az utasitasokat. bevallom, kicsit unalmas volt igy, hogy egy budos szot nem ertettem az egesz tarsalgasbol. hiaba volt ez egy III-as folyo... (az ernyozes sokkal kiralyabb :P) es raadasul nagggyon hideg volt a viz... (:
ja, meg egy nagy hibat elkovettem tegnap: beultem egy helyi fodraszhoz... ajajaj, nem kellett volna. remelem, kicsit helyrejon, mire ujra lattok :P

i started being proud of my russian kknowledge. even though i would not call it knowledge. but! a few days ago i called the uzbek embassy and arranged an appointment to get my visa. and it worked!! (:
anyway, i started enjoying it so much, so that i would rather go to countries, where people dont speak english or german...
i really wanted to post a good story about getting the visa, but despite all my preconceptions i have to tell you, that the process was smooth and quick. i applied for the visa in the morning and i could pick it up at 3 pm. amazing!
on the way i managed to go rafting on chuy river. when we got there, i had to realize, that i was the only one who does not speak russian in the group. i thought i would be better to understand the commands and so. i have to admit, that it was a bit boring, even though the river is ranke III (paragliding is much better :P). but i could not understand anything from the conversations... and the river was extremely cold... auch! (:
oh, yeah, a big mistake i just did: i went to a local hairdresser... i should not have done it :P

kirgiz vizum

szerencsem volt, hogy megtudtam, hogy a budapesti kazah nagykovetsegen is lehet vizumot igenyelni. igy megusztam egy becsi kiruccanast!

ugy gondoltam, hogy felkeszulten mentem a vizumert, kitoltve minden papirt, amit becsben is kertek volna. persze, nekik nem az kellett. sokkal jobbnak talaltak megfogni a kazah vizumigenylo lapot, amin mindent at kellett huznom, ami kazahsztanra vonatkozott, es nemes egyszeruseggel oda kellett irnom, hogy kirgizisztan. (hitrelen nem is tudtam, hogy kirgizisztan vagy kirgisztan az orszag hivatalos neve... (: )

de aztan nem kellett olyan komolyra venni a figurat. miutan nem volt sem meghivom, sem szallasom lefoglalva, a konzul egyszeruen beiratta velem az igenylesbe, hogy hotel kyrgyzstan-ban fogok lakni (biztos jo sokan laknak ott, ha ez igy megy!). de megirom, ha esetleg tenyleg igy lesz, es en is (:

persze, a befizetesemrol szolo faxot nem kaptak meg, igy 2x kellett ellatogatnom hozzajuk. lassan mar ugy ismernek, mint a rosszpenzt. (:

kicsit mar izgulok az ut miatt, megis minden uj lesz es idegen. a paramat megkoronazando, a bucsubulimon elloptak a penztarcamat, benne a penzen kivul szemelyit, lakcimkartyat, TB kartyat, 3 bankkartyat stb. de a lenyeg, hogy mindenem, de MINDENEM megmaradt, ami az uthoz elengedhetetlen: utlevel es 1 darab bankkartya... remelem, az egiek csak azt akarjak uzenni, hogy legyek kint nagyon ovatos. igerem, az leszek!

annyi mar az indulas elott valtozott, hogy kina idohiany miatt egy masik idopontra tolodik, viszont hazafele meglatogatom az ukranokat. levezeteskent...

i was lucky to receive the information, that visa to kyrgyzstan can be applied in the kazakh embassy as well, so i saved a trip to vienna. (:

i thought that i was prepared for the application, filling up all the papers, that i wanted to bring to vienna as well... but of course they needed something totally different. they asked me to fill up the same application form as for the kazakh visa, correcting the country names by a pen... looked pretty funny. (i was not even sure if i could spell the country name correctly (: )

but then... it was not that serious. i have no hotel reservation or such in kyrgyzstan, so they just told me a hotel name - surprisingly hotel kyrgyzstan - to write on the form. there must be a lot of people staying there, if this is the way it just works... :P

i am a bit excited already about this trip... everything will be new, uncertain and unknown. to intensify my worries on my farewell party my purse was stolen with all my IDs and bank cards! except for my passport and one credit card, that i left at home... so this means, that YES, i can still travel (:

as you must know, these long trips alwasy change. i haven't left yet, but i already know, that i have to skip china as i do not have enough time. and 'less is more', that must be my moto for the journey.

instead as a nice channelling, i will have a few days in ukraine at the end...

visa phase II

van kazah vizumom!!! 2 honapra. ugy, ahogy kertem. nagyot csalodtam bennuk, pozitivan.

azert azt hozza kell tennem, hogy 2x hivtam oket, miutan majdnem szabit vettem ki hetfore, hogy megyek a vizumert. de vegul szerdara meglett...

be kell lassam, hogy a multkori, a kazah nagykovetseg elotti utcan valo sorbanallas nem volt veletlen. tenyleg az utcan kell sorbanallni!!! hihi

kozben az ido surget, es el kellett kezdenem intezni a kirgiz vizumot is. mivel itthon nincs nagykovetseg, ezert vagy kozvetitovel intezteti az ember, vagy elmegy becsbe. ez meg nalam a jovotol fugg. elsore egy meghivolevelet probalok beszerezni, ami ahhoz szukseges, hogy vizumot szerezzek. talaltam egy kirgiz utazasi irodat (Advantour), akik laza 40 dollarert megigertek, hogy kuldenek egyet (dragabb, mint maga a vizum...). kivancsi vagyok (:

i have got visa to kazakhstan!!! for two months, as i asked. very positive!

i have to admit that i called them just before i took a vacation day to pick up the visa, they told me to come a bit later. finally i got it on wednesday... 

i have to modify my last view as queueing on the street was not because of us... it is the rule, you have to queue on the street. wow...

anyway, time passes, so i had to arrange visa to kyrgyzstan. as there is no embassy in hungary, you have two options: you either find someone, who arranges everything instead of you or go to vienna. time decides which i will go for. first i am going for a visa support or LOI, which is required to get a visa. i found a travel agency in bishkek (advantour), t hey are happy to arrange it for me for only 40 usd, which is a bit more, then the price of the visa itself... (:

mint azt mar sokan tudjatok, iden nyaron ket honapig kozep-azsiaban fogok utazgatni. epp a kazah vizumert jelentkezesemrol sztoriztam, amikor tobb helyrol jott az igeny, hogy akkor irany, blogba bele az infot. es hat tenyleg ez a legkonnyebb modja az egesznek (:

aztan remelem majd az iroi venam is fejlodik kicsit...

miutan kitoltottem a szukseges papirokat, elmentem a kazah nagykovetsegre. gyonyoru, bugyikek epulet. (: az utcan varakoztunk, ami alapbol vicces volt, de aztan kiderult, hogy ez csak a mi benazasunk volt, nyugodtan be lehet menni. nem fogadott kigyozo sor, barmily meglepo...

sorrakerultem, es mondtam, hogy egy vizumot szeretnek 2 honapra, 2 belepesre. oke, kapok egy honapra, egy belepesre. hihi, mondom, az uriember akcentusabol nem azt vettem le, hogy nem ert magyarul, igy ujra probalkoztam, de ugyanazt a valaszt kaptam. nem gondoltam, hogy vevo lesz arra, hogy akkor rendben, legyen igy, de ebbol akkor rogton kettot kernek, igy kicsit valtoztattam a stiluson, es megprobaltam full kedvesen ugyanezt eloadni... es lass csodat, csak egy nyilatkozatot kellett kitoltenem, amire ramasoltam a masik papirrol az osszes adatot, megigertem, hogy akiket megadtam kinti kontaktoknak, tenyleg a barataim, es innen minden siman ment. persze, addig nem kiabalok el semmit, amig nincs a kezemben (illetve az egy hetre otthagyott utlevelemben) a vizum.

persze, a dzsekimet ott felejtettem, amiert majd egy het mulva megyek vissza (ezt nagyon furcsaltak...), es egy morcos kazah 'nye telefon' kiabalasokkal tudtomra adta, hogy a nagykovetseg teruleten nem lehet telefonalni (pedig epp uj ernyot akartam venni :P). szoval ha esetleg mentek... telefont kikapcsolni! szoval megkaptam az elso izelitot a kozep-azsiai hangulatbol, es egybol meg jobban megjott a kedvem az egeszhez. jovo heten irom az eredmenyeket!

most of you know, that i am going to spend two months in central asia this summer.

i have just applied for a visa and telling the stories about my last days, people started claiming about a blog. so here i am, writing - even though i am not very good at it -, but ready to improve (:

so after filling up the required forms i went to the kazakh embassy to apply for a two-month, double-entry visa. the man behind a window, where i could hardly see as it looked like a mirror, told me to give the visa for one month and one entry. i started explaining him, that it is not what i really would like. so i gave it another try, but the man seemed to be steady and did not change his mind. i decided to change my attitude and tried to be very gentle and sweet, and it worked! somehow i just had to fill up another form (with exactly the same data as on the visa application form - only God knows why) and we were all done. i just do not understand why we could not start this way, but i guess, i have to get used to the different mentality...

i got some taste of the local's thinking, when they very rigidly instructed me stopping my phone call immediately, when i was in the garden. i must have disturbed someone for sure.

i had to leave my passport there for a week, so now i cannot apply for the chinese visa, but c'est la vie. i wonder if i really get the visa for two months and double entry... will let you soon (:
